The thesis is dedicated to improving the treatment of school-age children with asthma by correcting intestine dysmicrobiocenosis through a comprehensive study of intestinal microflora, immune system and trace element metabolism. Based on a comprehensive clinical and laboratory study found that children of school age with asthma had a breach in the intestinal microflora, which were characterized by a decrease in normal flora and increasing content of pathogenic microflora dysbiosis had a pronounced degree of relationship with the severity of the underlying disease. Immune status was characterized by a marked imbalance that is manifested inhibition of T-cell level, impaired B-cell link with significant dysimunohlobulinemia and significant increase in proinflammatory IL-1 and anti-inflammatory IL-4 in the serum of affected children. These changes are directly dependent on the extent of disease. They also revealed marked disturbances content bioelements in serum, which were shown significant decrease of zinc and magnesium with a parallel increase in copper content. In the period of remission in the application of basic treatment to normalize the violations took place. In the study of clinical and pathogenetic parallels between the state of intestinal microflora, and immune homeostasis bioelement certain associations were found between these parameters, indicating their close relationship in the body of a sick child. Recommended in complex therapy of bronchial asthma in school-age children to use probiotic preparation has modulating effects on intestinal flora, immune and bioelement status.
