Zhernov A. Surgical treatment of postburn deformations and contractures using optimized methods of tissue expansion

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of actual problem of surgical treatment of patients with postburn deformations and contractures using the method of tissue expansion by improvement of existing and development of new methods of plastic by expanded flaps on the basis of use of new methods of formation, displacement and fixation of plastic material. On the basis of experimental and clinical researches new ways of implantation of the tissue expanders, new methods of formation, moving and fixing of the extended flaps are developed. The proposed optimized methods of tissue expansion made it possible to improve the results of treatment due to the increase in the number of positive results with 69.2 % to 91.9 % of the entire near and from 67.9 % to 92.6 % in the remote periods of treatment.
