Dissertation is devoted to the study of problems of the housing co-operatives in the system of economic and legal relations. Defines the place of housing cooperatives in the system of economic and legal relations as a special subject of economic activity in the construction of housing. The history of the development and current state of housing cooperatives in Ukraine. Determine the system of real estate market, which consists of interconnected structural elements, the most important of which are: business market, market institutions, market participants. In the work the specific legal form of housing cooperative and formulated especially relations arising in the creation and functioning of housing cooperatives. The author proposed conceptual model development provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine "On housing co-operatives" and provided a sample contract equity participation.
