Kovalenko D. Rehabilitation of reproductive function in women after reconstructive surgery for uterine fibroids

Dissertation is devoted to optimize and improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation of reproductive function in women after reconstructive surgery for uterine fibroids on the basis of studying the characteristics of reparative process in the operated uterus, disorders of the endocrine function of reproductive system and their correction in the pregravid period and during pregnancy. Developed and scientifically based medical therapy in women after reconstructive surgery for uterine fibroids using progesterone in pregravid period and during pregnancy wich showed efficacy in the prevention and treatment of miscarriage, placental dysfunction and other gestational complications. Suggested technologies of post-operative recovery of reproductive function contributed to the realization of reproductive function in 68,3% of women after conservative surgical treatment of uterine leiomyoma.
