Essay

Research object are cryopreserved fetal liver cells. The research aim was to study the peculiarities in the change of structural and functional characteristics of cells of monocyte-phagocyte system during adjuvant arthritis and the possibility of their correction due to cryopreserved fetal liver cells. The research methods were cryobiological, biochemical, immunological, in vitro culturing, statistical processing of the results. For the first time there was assessed in combination the structural and functional characteristics of cells of monocyte-phagocyte system and the correcting effect of native and cryopreserved cells of fetal liver in the model of adjuvant arthritis was analyzed in a comparative aspect. The obtained data contribute to the knowledge on the mechanisms of implementing apoptotic processes in the cells of monocyte-phagocyte system at autoimmune pathology, as well as contribute to the de-coding of therapeutic effect of fetal liver cells. The dependence of manifestation of therapeutic effect of fetal liver cells on the type of used material and term of its introduction was established. The fact of more manifested therapeutic potential of cryopreserved fetal liver cells if compared with native ones was found.
