This dissertation focuses on the study of psychological factors and conditions of effective development of students philologists' communicative skills at the foreign language lessons in higher education establishments. The model of students philologists' communicative skills is elaborated in the work. It is mentioned that communicative skills contain thesaurus, motivational and pragmatic, evaluative and semantic layers each of them comprises of communicative and informative, cognitive and emotive components and structural elements. The programme of development of students philologists' communicative skills at the foreign language lessons in higher education establishments is proposed. It is demonstrated that psychological factors of students philologists' communicative skills are readiness of prospective specialists for implementation of communicative activities; activation of communicative and cognitive students' activity; providing motivational group unity due to becoming of every personality action and communicative needs; optimization of intragroup students philologists' cooperation style and their compliance of dialogical strategy of communication mostly; consideration and use of communicative students' group potential in terms of mastering specific knowledge, skills which are necessary for successful professional activity of every group member.
