The object - weak wind, inversions; the aim - the development of methods for forecasting of weak wind and temperature inversions, which may be predictors for short-term forecasting of meteorological conditions of atmospheric pollution; methods - the physical and statistical analysis, synoptic and climatic analysis, discriminant and regression analysis; the results - the developed and implemented a method for short-term forecasting of the weak wind at some stations of the North-Western Black Sea in view synoptic situation and the time of year, substantiated the possibility of using the method of discriminant analysis for the short-term forecasting temperature inversions in the boundary layer of atmosphere by season over researched regions; the novelty - the theoretical substantiation and practical implementation methods of short-term forecasting of weak wind and temperature inversions for some areas of North-Western Black Sea; the introduction degree - is introduced; the branch of using - forecast centers, bodies of local government, nature protection authorities.
