Marchuk A. Criminological bases of inmate population classification.

This thesis is the first monographic research ever made in Ukraine, where author provides criminological characteristics of inmate population classification. Author made criminological analysis of initial and secondary classification, and the reclassification of inmate population as well. Basing on the results of research activity author recommends and substantiates the system of classification criteria that are intensively interdependent and aimed at identifying prisoners, who are likely to commit crimes while serving the sentence. Author provides the whole range of recommendations, aimed at the development of penal law in Ukraine in the sphere of inmate population classification.
