Essay

The dissertation is devoted to complex comparative analysis of the results of clinical, instrumental and neuroimaging investigations at discirculatory encephalopathy (DE) with ischemic stroke (IS) in history and without it. For the first time the author has revealed peculiarities of clinical manifestations (complaints, neurological status, cognitive and psychoemotional disorders), condition of major arteries of the head (MAH), neuroimaging alterations. Comparative study of factors which influence the expression of cognitive disorders in DE patients with ischemic stroke (IS) in history and without it. It has been shown that IS in history favours the growth of chronic cerebral circulation failure and activation of neurodegenerative cerebral processes. The purposefulness of inclusion of memantin in complex post-stroke treatment of the patients has been grounded.
