The thesis is devoted to researching the questions of criminal liability for improper professional diligence of a medical officer, pharmacologist or other personnel whose duties negligence, resulted in infecting a person with HIV or any other incurable contagious disease. The effected analysis embraces the social preconditions of relevant acts' criminalization; exposed are the historic progress' stages of domestic legislation considering the criminal responsibility in the field of medical and pharmaceutical staff' professional activity; investigated are the origins and their latency raisons for this category crimes as well as the similar ones occurring in the medicine and pharmacy.
