Essay

The basis of the data is of clinical and instrumental examination of 116 ischemic chronic heart failure (CHF) patients (pts) with left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction. Flow-mediated vasodilation (FMD) in pts with genotype CC of eNOS T (-786) C polymorphism was reduced more in comparison to FMD pts with TT and TC genotypes. FMD in pts with genotype GG of eNOS G894T polymorphism was reduced more in comparison to FMD TT pts. FMD does not depend on class NYHA and EF LV. The pts with genotype CC of eNOS T (-786) C polymorphism have demonstrated significantly worse 30 month prognosis as compared to TT pts.
