Essay

Object: control of non player character's behavior. Methods: structural data analysis, computational intelligence, theory of discrete interval type-2 fuzzy sets and systems, object-oriented design and programming. Aim: Design of information technology for creating videogames with new features which are provided by the use of natural user interfaces. Theoretical and practical results: actual scientific and practical task of design information technology of behavior control of non player characters on the basis of evolving intelligence, which can improve the quality of videogames at the expense of more complete account of the individual characteristics of player. Scientific topicality: the adaptive behavior control model of non player character based on the theory of control systems and the theory of discrete interval type-2 fuzzy sets and systems, which is characterized by Dynamic changes of the structure of fuzzy rule base with taking into account cognitive parameters of player; the model of videogame enjoyment, in which the cognitive player parameters are important; methods of representation and processing of discrete interval type-2 fuzzy systems by developing the system of description of the type-2 fuzzy systems based on extended Backus-Naur form and table-modular decomposition of type-2 fuzzy systems. The degree of implementation: the model of cognitive player parameters based on discrete interval type-2 fuzzy sets and systems and package library supporting discrete interval type-2 fuzzy systems are used in the human-machine interaction system (company - "Lognet Billing LTD "Lognet"). Area of use: videogames, systems of human-machine interaction.
