Georgieva O. The Ukrainian folk traditions as the part of the modern design of the interior of the individual housing

The dissertation is devoted to the preservation of the national traditions in the modern Ukrainian design in the globalizing world. The new systematic approach to the synthesis of the traditions and modern requirements of the design of living space is developed in this thesis. The role of the traditional elements in the reflection of the artistic and aesthetic qualities of the Ukrainian architecture, in the creating of the new unique form of the modern interior in the specific culture, in the designing of the harmonious space is defined. It is found the interrelation of the composite, geometric shape and parameters of the traditional elements by the transformation and combinatorics. It is established the analytical pattern of the forming of the elements of the national housing that helps to synthesize the design, technology and quality data in the modeling of the national-directed living space. It is completed the engineering of the modern living space, given as a starting point the traditional elements of folk housing, their details, the typical lines and shapes.
