Dvoretsky V. Methods of radar deviation automatic calculation for improving safety of navigation

The purpose of the work carried out is to increase efficiency of navigation by means of awareness of the navigator and determining final information through improvement of methods of radar deviation (RD) automatic calculation. The theoretical analyses on RD and factors which cause its origin has been carried out. The computational model of influence of obstructions on electromagnetic field has been presented and its adequacy has been justified. The errors have been calculated as RD for antennas. Experimental data measured and obtained on vessels has been researched, systematized and analyzed. The algorithm of RD used by navigator in course of his work with ARPA has been developed. A universal computer program used in systems which identify targets movement options and passing conditions has been created.
