The research is devoted to the understanding and artistic interpretation of the theme of the Middle Ages in theoretical and artistic works by writers from among the magazine "Literary and Scientific Herald" (1922nd-1932nd) and "The Herald" (1933rd-1939th).Lyrical, dramatic and epic works by "visnykivtsi" summarily create many ideas, problems, experiences, images and tropics the picture of Middle Ages, which appears in a powerful historiosophical sound as the era of high-Christianity, heroism and nobility.
