Borysov B. Ground of postoperative complications prophylactics methods in pancreaticoduodenal resection carrying out

We have generalized the clinical experience for diagnostics and surgical treatment of patients with surgical diseases of periampullary organs, that underwent pancreaticoduodenal resection in the period from 2005 to 2010. Based on complex analyzis results of evaluation diagnostic algorithm was worked out, that made it possible to put correct diagnosis in 98.6% of patients. We have established the role of endoscopic ultrasound investigation in patients with pancreaticoduodenal tumors. Main factors of postoperative complications development were founded and measures for their prevention were elaborated. Our investigations applicationlet us to decrease rate of postoperative delayed gastric emptying by implementation of gastro- or duodenoenteroanastomosis in antecolic position.Role and place of preoperative biliary decompression in patients with pancreaticoduodenal tumors was found.
