Piven A. Criminological characteristics and prevention of violent street crime

In the thesis, a comprehensive study of measures of prevention of violent street crime. Considered the signs and features of the street violent crime, conducted long-term criminological analysis of violent street crime, identified the most significant factors which determine and contribute to the Commission of crimes of this category. Defines the main directions of the prevention of violent street crime, on the basis of which the complex of generally-social, specially-criminological and victimological measures is proposed, substantiated by practical proposals and recommendations aimed at the improvement of the preventive activities of the law enforcement bodies.
