Essay

The work is devoted to a complex, general theoretical study of social state under conditions of political and economical transformations. The historiography of the problem and modern approaches in relation to the construction of the social state models is considered within the study of doctrine grounds of the concept «social state». The structural and functional analysis related to the knowledge of the social state is carried out. The American experience of functioning of the social state is examined. The concept, essence and principles of transformation of the democratic social state under conditions of globalization are exposed.
