Korol I. The competitiveness of the national economy in the implementation of the strategic objectives of its development

The thesis deals with the theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of the national economy competitiveness in order to develop potential ways to improve the Ukraine's national economy competitiveness in the system of strategic targets of society development. Systematized theoretical approaches of foreign and domestic scientists to research the nature of the national economy competitiveness. Typology and periodization of the methodology development for assessing competitiveness at the macro level was grounded. A cluster analysis of competitive factors allowed to make ranging of economies due to achieved level of competitiveness and to determine the target cluster of development of the national economy. Main trends in the development of economic potential key components of the developed countries and Ukraine were identified. An approach to developing and implementing strategic lines of Ukraine's national economy competitiveness structured by objectives, methods, tools and funding sources was suggested.
