The thesis is dedicated to the therapy efficiency increase of the patients with atopic dermatitis via using medicines containing Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, lignin and lactulose, along with conventional treatment, as well as determination of the information value of TNF-alfa gene polymorphism alleles conjunction in the position 308(G/A) in the genome of the patients with atopic dermatitis to forecast the severity of the clinical course of dermatosis. The research is based on the examination and treatment results of 127 patients with atopic dermatitis aged from 14 up to 62, suffering metabolism disturbances, such as blood lipidic spectrum alterations, pro- and antioxidant homeostasis misbalance, ІL-1beta and TNF-alfa interleukine level increase with metabolic intoxication syndrome development, which maintain associative correlation relations and depend on the patient's age and sex, as well as the area of affected skin, dermatosis severity and duration. It has been ascertained that using medicines containing Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, lignin and lactulose, along with conventional treatment, benefit positive dynamics of the researched biochemical indexes, faster regress of the clinical manifests of atopic dermatitis and shorter period of patients' recovery.TNF-alfa gene polymorphism alleles in the position 308(G/A) have been researched among 33 patients with atopic dermatitis of high and low dermatosis severity. It has been proved that the factor of severe clinical course of atopic dermatitis is the presence of the allele G (homozygote genotype of inheritance G/G) in the patient's genome, whereas the presence of the 'mutant' allele A and genotype G/A of TNF-alfa gene in the patient's genome plays protective role against the development of the severe form of atopic dermatitis, resulting in minimal area of affecting skin by pathological process.
