Dissertation research is devoted to the problem of ethnopsychology in prosaic work of А. Dimarov. In this work it was done the theoretical consideration of ethnopsychology concepts (identity, national character, mentality, national consciousness) and their interpretation in Ukrainian literature. The work studies A.Dimarov's prose, the peculiarities of character creation, literary and aesthetic views of the writer. The category of personality and specific representation of the national character in Dimarov's work have been described. Ethnopsychological orientation of Dimarov's prose has been analysed.
