Verbenets E. Еpidemiological and clinical features of the Marseilles fever, optimization of an epidemiological surveillance

Dissertation is devoted to studying of epidemiological features and clinical manifestations of the Marseilles fever at the present stage. In the dissertation is given the comparative analysis of incidence by the Marseilles fever in Sevastopol. The detailed description of an acarological situation on the main vector of an infection is given - the southern dog tick of R. sunguineus. Clinical examination and survey of 125 patients with Marseilles fever were made. The reaction of binding of a compliment (RBC) with antigen from R. sibirica, which has the general group-specific antigen structure with R. conorii was used for the specification diagnosis of disease. At first was studied histological structure of primary affect for the purpose of differential diagnostics between Marseilles fever and other diseases with primary affect. Ciprofloxacin - from group of fluoroquinolone, is recommended as drug of choice in case of intolerance of tetracycline.
