Belogubova O. Legal regulation of seamen labour in private international law.

The thesis investigateds the nature and essence of private international labour law, peculiarities of legal regulation of seamen labour relations with a foreign element, the correlation of private international labour law with other institutions and branches of law. The peculiarities of legal regulation concerning the seamen employment in private international labour law are characterized. Conflict of laws and legal material regulation of labour relations complicated by a foreign element in commercial shipping are investigated. The place of international labour standards for regulation of seamen’s employment in private international law is defined. Legal analyses of mechanisms of protection of labour rights of seamen who are working under a foreign flag in private international labour law are conducted.
