Essay

The communicative features of the Ukrainian language in a live radio and television. The research focuses on the analyzing the meaning of "communication features". It is formed an optimal list of communication features, such as: correctness of language, accuracy of language, consistency of language, richness of language, diversity of language, imagery of language, expressiveness of language, pregnancy of language, accessibility of language. These characteristics are called communicative qualities of speech (B. M. Golovin, M. I. Illyash), sometimes criteria of speech (A. M. Vasilyeva), language improvement criteria (L. A. Bulakhovsky), communicative features of language (S. YA. Yermolenko, L. I. Matsko, N. D. Babych), communicative qualities of language (L. V. Struhanets), communicative and rhetorical qualities of speech (F. S. Batsevych). It is represented the history of separation of communicative features. It is traced four stages of the communicative characteristics' study: 1) 20-30-ies of XX cent. - the period of the formation of scientific normative language' concepts (Y. Vahek, B. Havranek, O. B. Kurylo, I. I. Ohiyenko, M. F. Sulyma); 2) 50-70-ies of XX cent. - period of the separation of culture language as a science, differentiation of communicative characteristics of language in the independent linguistic area of expertise (L. A. Bulakhovsky, M. A. Zhovtobryukh, A. P. Koval); 3) 80-90-ies of XX cent. - the period of terminology defining of communicative features (B. M. Golovin, M. I. Illyash, A. M. Vasilyeva, N. D. Babych, S. YA. Yermolenko, L. I. Matsko, L. V. Struhanets); 4) the beginning of the XXI cent. - the period of institutionalization metalanguage to describe communication features, expanding the limits of operation of terminology (L. O. Vvedenska, L.H. Pavlova, O. YU. Kashayeva, F. S. Batsevych, O. M. Horoshkina , Z. O. Matsyuk, N. I. Stankevych, M. Nikolich). It is introduced the term "lingual identifiers of communicative features". The research is systematized views of linguists on evaluative language settings, and the lingual identifiers' system of communication features. It is considered modern research language media in the paradigm of scientific knowledge. It is characterized as a live segment of modern media space by type of communication themed radio and television programs. It is separated linear, interactive and transactional type of communication in a live broadcast. The linear type is a one-way process (monologue), which represented by a linguistic activity of journalist. The interactive type is two-way process (dialogue communication), which involved a journalist and communicant-destination (guest of studio, another journalist in the studio or journalist, who is in touch with the scene). The transactional type is multi-process (polylogue communication), which involves three or more participants of communication (journalist-interviewer, two or more communicants-recipients (guests of studio, caller, other journalists). It is developed the mechanism of monitoring, which determines the level of normativity os spoken Ukrainian language in a live broadcast during the chosen period of time. It ia established the violations of various types of literary language norm in ten-line broadcast radio and television programs by method of continuous sample. It si founded the average frequency of disturbances in the live broadcast. It is created an electronic database of fragments of radio and television programs that are broadcast live.The electronic database of fragments of radio and television programs that are broadcast live. It is analyzed implement a range of dominant traits in communicative language in live radio and television time through the system of lingual identifiers of communicative features. It is established that the correctness of language provides, first of all, regulatory clearance message. Other dominant features are classified into two groups: implicit and explicit communicative characteristics. Accuracy, consistency, pregnancy, accessibility are implicit features of language; richness, diversity, imagery and expressiveness are explicit communicative featutes of language.
