The dissertation is dedicated to the problem of forming dialogical interaction skills with foreign newspaper texts and improvement of their understanding by the students of universities. The analysis is given to different approaches to the text understanding problems studies. Psychological characteristics of foreign newspaper texts understanding process and dialogical features of newspaper texts are defined. The role of the author and the reader in the communicative system Reality - Author - Text - Reader is established. The students' skills of dialogical interaction with foreign newspaper texts are considered and the most effective ones are defined. The general students' skills of dialogical interaction with foreign newspaper texts are finding different standpoints in the text, asking dialogical questions to the text, prediction of the further development of events, summarizing on the text, evaluation and emotional reaction to the problem, commenting upon the text. The training program on forming dialogical interaction students' skills with foreign newspaper texts is created. Under the results of the experiment higher level of understanding of foreign newspaper texts by the students of the experimental group is established. Higher level of the students' foreign language communicative competence due to the training program on dialogical interaction with foreign newspaper texts is also stated. It is proved that having a command of dialogical interaction skills with foreign newspaper texts is the factor of understanding foreign newspaper texts and improvement of the students' foreign language communicative competence level.
