Pradid O. Word-formative and grammatical peculiarities of titles of divisions and articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The object - titles of divisions and articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The aim - to describe word-formative, morphological and syntactic peculiarities of titles of divisions and articles of the effective Criminal Code of Ukraine with successive ascertainment quantitative parameters and standard characteristics. Methods - descriptive, functional, structural, quantitative calculations. It is described the establishment periods of juridical linguistics as a separate science and academic discipline in Ukraine and in the world. It is suggested to consider texts of laws (codes) as genres of legal substyle of official style. In the dissertation the word-formative models, according to which titles of divisions and articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are constructed, and their morphological peculiarities are analyzed in detail. It is proved that nouns exceed in titles of divisions and articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, among which there are more frequent verbal ones. It is ascertained that the most of titles of divisions and articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are constructed according to the models of primary simple nominative sentence. The titles of divisions and articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine constructed according to the models, which are the components of polypredicative constructions relative to compound and complex sentences, are infrequent.
