The author's approach to the solution of scientific-practical problem of the need to improve the operation efficiency of a permanent system of natural complex monitoring under increased anthropogenic impact on the environment through the use of geo- information systems for the integrated territory management, national land cadastre maintenance, the monetary land valuation, management and sustainable development of the territories is represented in the thesis. The significance of improving the application level of GIS methods and techniques in planning and controlling the natural complex monitoring system is substantiated. GIS data models for natural complex monitoring of on the basis of the international set of standards of ISO 19100 "Geographic information/Geomatics" are developed. The technique of GIS analysis of the spatial distribution of the objects of the air, surface water and soil monitoring network, is developed, which makes it possible to raise the level of layout planning and management of the objects within observation network. The application of geostatistical analysis and modeling of the component status and changes in natural complexes by means of GIS is proved. The results have been implemented in the scientific-research works in the field of creating digital map information base, the development of geographic information systems for the monitoring of natural complexes in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
