Gorbachevskiy R. Hygienic grounding of regulations for safe application in agriculture for imidazolinone herbicides is based on imazapyr and imazamox

The dissertation is concerned with hygienic assessment of modern imidazolinone herbicides and scientific substantiation of regulations for their safe application for crop protection of pulses and oilseeds. The hazard category of investigational herbicides and their active substances imazapyr and imazamox have been identify. Tendencies of conduct of herbicides in environmental objects in soil-climate conditions of Ukraine have been established. Ecological and toxicological risks and integral vector of risk of groundwater pollution have been calculated. Working conditions and potential risk of adverse effect on an organism of the agricultural workers have been assessed. Acceptable daily intakes of imazamox for human, hygienic regulations of contents imazamox in air of a working zone, atmospheric air, water of water reservoirs, soil, sunflower and rape seed, pea and soya bean. The maximum allowable concentration of imazapyr in soil and maximum allowable level of imazapyr in sunflower and rape seed have been substantiated. Analytical methods for imazapyr and imazamox determination in environmental objects, in air of a working zone and in foodstuffs have been developed.
