Martynyshyn G. Imposing a Punishment In Case of the Totality of Sentences: Criminal Law Research

The thesis is devoted to the complex research and formation of the complete concept of the special rules of imposing a punishment in case of the totality of sentences. On the ground of studying the results of theoretical researches made by scientists, as well as the analysis of the current legislation of Ukraine and the judicial practice, legal nature of the totality of sentences is found out, a set of issues arising during imposing a punishment in case of the totality of sentences are outlined and resolved. A short survey of the history of criminal legislation development is made and the foreign experience in regulating an issue of imposing a punishment in case of the totality of sentences is covered. An order of imposing a punishment in case of the totality of sentences is find out.
