The thesis is a comprehensive scientific research on problems of general part of Ukrainian criminal law science. The study covers twenty years of its existence from 1991 till 2011. The development and research status of Ukrainian criminal law doctrine (general part issues) are analysed. On this basis the trends in Ukrainian criminal law science are determined. Propositions on improvement of the research activity in the field of Ukrainian criminal law are pointed out.
