Essay

Object - toxic metals (cadmium, lead, mercury), klinoptilolite, biological liquids (blood, plasma, urine), hair, laboratory animals (rats); aim - elaboration of effective and express techniques of isolation and quantification of toxic metals in biological liquids applying solid-phase extraction on natural sorbent klinoptilolite, that are useful for chemico-toxicological and pharmaceutical analysis; methods - instrumental (spectrophotometry, atomic adsorption, inverse voltamperometry, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy); novelty - are elaborated express-methods of quantitative determination of heavy metals (cadmium, lead, mercury) in blood, urine, and hair after the biological material purification with solid-phase extraction by H-klinoptilolite. The results of investigations have been implemented in the educational process and scientific work of some departments of the medical and pharmaceutical universities in Ukraine, the 4-th level of accreditation; branch - pharmacy.
