Essay

The object of research: ways of keeping cows, length of the dry period, live weight of young animals (including bulls and heifers) from birth to 6 months of age, reproductive and productive traits of cows. Objective: to explore the performance and reproductive ability of cows Ukrainian black and speckled dairy breed with the technology content, depending on their physiological state. Methods: zootechnical, laboratory, biometrics, economic. Theoretical and practical results: in theory - have been further developed the theoretical foundations of the conditions of preparation for calving cows to achieve the maximum level of milk production while maintaining the quality of animals reproduction. In practice - are revealed evidence on the effects of preparation conditions for calving cattle on the implementation of the genetic potential for milk production of cows Ukrainian black-speckled dairy breed, as well as reproductive capacity and the growth rate of young animals during the growing period up to 6 months of age, what is the practical basis for the rational formation of breeding stock and commodity breeding herds. Novelty: first is established the expediency of loose housing of cows in the dry period in isolated sections on deep litter under condition that cows of different physiological condition are housing in the same room. Developed further study of the impact of housing conditions of the cows in the dry period, not only on the productive and reproductive characteristics, but also on the growth rate of young animals during the growing period up to 6 months of age. First developed scientific and practical advice on the use of various technology content of dry cows for the manifestation of their genetic potential for productivity and reproductive ability, which can complement the "Departmental rules of technological design "Cattle breeding enterprises (complexes, farms, small farms)" (VNTP-AIC-01.05). Scientific and practical recommendations are approved by the Academic Council of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University (protocol number 8 on March 30, 2012). The research results are used in scientific and academic work in the departments of universities in Ukraine. The degree of implementation: the results of research have been implemented in the branch - named Michurin PJSC "Zernoprodukt MHP" in the village Great Mytnik Khmelnitsky region Vinnytsia region and the "Peredovik" Company PC "Podolie" in the village Dovzhok Yampolsky region Vinnytsia region. Application areas - livestock, particularly cattle.
