Essay

An object is an educational and teaching process at the higher educational institutions; an objective aims to determine influence of the theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified approach in application of consultations at the higher educational establishment on the quality of training of specialists, their professional competence; methods used are theoretical, empiric and statistical; novelty - for the first time an approach of the education consultation in the system of professional training of a future teacher of natural and mathematical specialties was both scientifically grounded and experimentally verified, and envisaged: 1) assessment of students' needs (needs directed at improvement of quality of educational activity, overcoming difficulties in education; participation in creative activities, development of their skills, maturity of their intellectual abilities, involvement in scientific research; organization and conduction of self-education, self-discipline, and other personal needs); 2) selection of optimal courses of differential pedagogical support of students over the course of consultation conducted by an educator, fellow students (reciprocal consultation) and collaboration with holders of master's degree; 3) analysis and introspection of the results achieved; we determined the pedagogical conditions necessary for successful conduction of the education consultation: a) acknowledgement of necessity for consultation to successfully overcome difficulties in professional self-improvement, determination and development of their potential abilities; b) consultations conducted by educators subject to the needs, interests, experience of students for the purposes of regular self-analysis, self-appraisal and self-improvement; results - technology of organization of the education consultation with students was verified through research and experiments and may be implemented in practice of modern pedagogical universities; a field of study - pedagogy.
