Essay

Object of the research: response of human cells to the action of electromagnetic fields in vitro. The aim of the work: to study the characteristics of cell response to the impact of electromagnetic and magnetic fields of different characteristics in parameters of cell viability and changes of chromatin in the interphase cell nucleus and plasma membrane of cells. Methods: approaches of cellular and molecular biology, biophysics, mathematical statistics. It was established for the first time that the microwave, ultra wideband pulsed radiation and magnetic field cause an increase in the degree of chromatin condensation, which reduced 2 hours after termination of the damaging factor. It was shown for the first time that microwave radiation and magnetic field causing increased permeability of cell membranes for vital dye that is reduced 3 hours after the termination of the damaging factor. It was established for the first time that microwave radiation and magnetic field causing increased level of plasma membrane hydration of human cells. The increasing level of calcium ions and regulatory proteins in mammalian cells under the influence of microwave radiation was shown. Area of use: cell biology, biophysics, radiology.
