In dissertation the complex research of questions of methodology of public administration in Ukraine is carried out: the essence of methodology of public administration in Ukraine is exposed; the criteria which influence on maintenance of modern methodology of public administration are certain; the value of innovative development for formulation of the maintenance of methodology of public administration is described; the stages, becoming terms and development of methodology of public administration in Ukraine are showed; the approaches of optimization of the system of public administration are considered: structural, functional, structural-functional, process, system, project, synergetic, system-cybernetic, complex, strategic; the features of methodology in the spheres of public administration are investigated; the directions of improvement methodology of public administration in Ukraine are grounded.
