The thesis deals with the problem of preparedness of a practical psychologist to interact with the school teaching staff. The paper presents the analysis of the main scientific approaches to the study of the readiness of the individual to the profession, a practical psychologist's willingness for professional activities, interactions in psychological science, based on which the content, the components and the indicators of a practical psychologist's preparedness to interact with the school teaching staff are defined. Levels of preparedness of a practical psychologist to interact with the school teaching staff are investigated. Psychological prerequisites of a practical psychologist's readiness to interact with teaching staff of the school are defined. The original program of the afore-mentioned skill development is evaluated; its efficacy in postgraduate education in pedagogy is confirmed.
