The thesis focuses on studying the means for improving the course of pregnancy and its consequences in women with different types of lateral anthropophysiological constitution. Having regard to the performed clinical, laboratory and ultrasonic studies we suggested the clinical implementation of new method of forecasting the complications of pregnancy and new method with the view of its prevention by lateral light therapy. It was studied the examinees' population subdivision according to the type of the lateral profile. The correlation between the common complications of pregnancy and delivery and the space coordination in asymmetries of female reproductive system in the structure of lateral profile of pregnant women was proved. There was suggested a method of harmonization the central and peripheral asymmetries of the female reproductive system to prevent the complications of pregnancy and labor by using lateral light therapy. Using lateral light therapy at 10 - 14 weeks of gestation in pregnant women with disharmony of the central and peripheral asymmetries is established to significantly improve the laboratory, ultrasound indices and clinical parameters of the course of pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. Thus, to improve the course of pregnancy and its results and with the view of preventing its possible complications one should determine the lateral profile of pregnant women and if it necessary take measures on harmonizing the asymmetries of reproductive system by means of lateral light therapy, which is pathogenetically grounded, safe and effective.
