The thesis analyzes the current state of theory and practice to solve the problem definition didactic principles of designing electronic textbooks on natural subjects for senior students of secondary schools and the main areas of improvement. The classification of educational opportunities and found e-books as learning tools. Definitely didactic principles and basic requirements for the design of electronic textbooks, which include: the use of context-modular principle structuring the content of e-books to fill the parts and elements of the training material, the definition of information functions, roles, purpose analytical tools and software and educational software for the use of electronic textbooks as a stand-alone multimedia learning, taking into account the sanitary requirements for designing electronic textbooks. The efficiency of e-books on natural objects, designed for developed didactic principles.
