Object of research: elements of intensive cultivation technology heifers and formation of biological and productive properties. Objective: to assess intensive cultivation technology heifers in a "cold" method of their content and mapping technology biological needs of the animals specialized dairy breeds. Methods: zootechnical, technology, laboratory, ethological, statistical, mathematical economics. Theoretical and practical results: in theory - has been further developed technology of growing calves in individual houses , aviaries outdoors and heifers - in rooms with natural ventilation. In practice - according to studies found dimensions of technological groups of heifers of different periods of cultivation, the growth rate of animals at the "cold" method of their content, age of onset of economic use, which helps to ensure a high-quality rearing and implementation inheritance productivity potential of specialized dairy breeds. Developed guidelines for the implementation of intensive cultivation technology heifers specialized dairy breeds. Novelty: first evaluated and justified the positive impact of the technological environment on the formation of biological and productive qualities of animals in intensive growing heifers specialized dairy breeds in Southern Ukraine. Clarified the appropriateness of the use of colostrum preserved by freezing with high immunobiological properties for feeding newborn calves in the first postnatal days. The dependence of ethological manifestations and survival of animals from their live weight at birth. New data on the effect of intensive cultivation technology heifers on growth, the beginning of their economic use and subsequent productivity. The degree of implementation: research results implemented on breeding ALLC " Promin" Arbuzinsky district of Mykolayiv region (the act of 10.06.2013 r.) And are used in the educational process at the Faculty of Technology of production and processing of livestock products, standardization and biotechnology Nicholas National Agrarian University (reference number 1841 MNAU from 27.09.2013 r.).
