Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of didactic games as a method of forming historical concepts in mentally retarded children, model didactic definition game design techniques using instructional games in history lessons in special schools and equal enjoyment of historical concepts. The author reveals signs, structural components, classification and function of didactic games. We describe a game model of historical concepts in children with visual intelligence, complex didactic games, technique of teaching games in special schools. Study allowed to determine the level of motivation to study history and level of development of socio-historical concepts in mentally retarded childrens. In forming and comparative stages of the experiment were found and proved the effectiveness of the proposed model of didactic games and methods of use of didactic games in history lessons in special schools.
