Object of research: impact of granulated slag from the production of silicomanganese to the quality of concrete justification of its physico-mechanical and chemical properties in compliance with environmental safety by determining the emissions of heavy metals in the soil. The aim of the thesis: a scientific justification for the use of slag as aggregate for silicomanganese fine concrete subject to compliance with environmental safety standards by determining emissions of heavy metals in soil. Methods: Experimental studies were carried out by standard methods in the laboratory using chemical, physical, mechanical and sanitary methods of researching soil and metallurgical slag. As part of the settlement of applied statistical methods for determining the reliability of the results. The development of engineering guidelines generally apply standard methods for determining the mechanical properties of building materials. Theoretical and practical results: The evaluation of the ecological condition of the soil in the buffer zone of JSC "Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant" and set the level of influence of granulated slag silicomanganese; prescription-defined process parameters of concrete based on granular slag and investigate basic physical and mechanical properties of the resulting material. Scientific novelty: the first time found that the use of man-made waste provides an opportunity to reduce the environmental risk in 1,95 times determined by means of construction and calculation of the decision tree; the first science-based environmental, physical, mechanical and chemical properties of fine concretes produced using slag. Found that emissions of heavy metals from slag concrete to silicomanganese correspond to the standard models; gained further study of the impact of industrial wastes to the soil by determining the emissions of heavy metals in the environment model; scientifically determined and experimentally proven prescription-technological parameters silicomanganese use of slag for the manufacture of building materials. Degree of implementation: flowsheet of internal wall panels from the resulting fine concrete and conducted research and industrial application of research results in the company BMC SE PA "Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant A. Makarov"; proposed the use of slag through their utilization in the production of fine concrete used in the educational process in carrying out practical work on the subject" Waste Management" curriculum specialists in the direction 7.040106 " Ecology and Environment".
