Ivakhnenko M. Aksionov's prose in the context of Russian Literature of the end of XX - beginning of XXI сentury. Genre and stylistic aspect.

The subject is short stories, short novels and novels created by V. Aksenov from 1959 to 2009. The goal is to identify issues, genre and prose style originality of V. Aksenov's prose in the context of Russian literature of the second half of XX - beginning of XXI century. The methods include descriptive and analytical, biographical, comparative and typological ones. The paper discusses V. Aksenov's short stories, short novels and novels created by the writer from 1960 to 2009. In his prose the poetics of postrealism was formed that synthesized the aesthetic experience of realism, modernism and postmodernism; there occurred joining of social and historical determinism with the search of irrational origins of the temper of the characters, combining of social and psychological insight with identifying of generic and metaphysical layers of human nature, modelling of artistic reality as a dialogue of different cultural languages. Aksenov's works, genre and stylistic strategies he had chosen, one way or another refracted all the major trends in Russian literature of the second half of XX - beginning of XXI centuries. V. Aksenov's prose, genre and stylistic strategies he had chosen, were focused on experimental, innovative type of literary writing, expansion of visual possibilities of the narrative genres that determined the nature and direction of his creative quest. The scope is the educational process.
