This thesis explores the problem of formation of musical-ear activity as the important musical-professional guality of future teachers of music. The stage-by-stage methodology of musical-ear activity in a tendency of mastering the detailed externally expressed art-analytical methods to minimized mental orientating-controlling musical-performing activity is elaborated and tasted. Pedagogical conditions of the effective forming of musical-ear activity in the process of musical-performing training are defined and substantiated. Means of diagnosis of students' musical-ear activity formation, which covers appropriate parameters, criteria, indicators and levels are improved.
