Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of an experimental dryer, which is used to supply heat to a material dried by electromagnetic radiation, as well as search, research, and approbation of technical solutions for its creation and testing. There was a design of an innovational dryer proposed. There had been several research cycles of drying wet granular material under conditions of electromagnetic energy supply made. The study established several experimental facilities. Fixed and moving material layer kinetics of the dryer researched. With the purpose of solving the task, created a mathematic model of the dryer process in the microwave electromagnetic radiation environment. Developed an engineering method of calculating basic characteristics of the tape microwave dryer.
