The thesis is aimed to improve the results of diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute pancreatitis, by optimizing medical diagnostic and treatment tactics, in order to correct the intestinal insufficiency syndrome. The thesis analyze the diagnosis and treatment of 218 patients with acute pancreatitis. Using step by step statistical methods we have developed total point diagnostic scale severity of acute pancreatitis, which is used in an early stage of the disease with diagnostic sensitivity of 94.8% and a specificity of 91.5%. The most important function of the intestine in patients with different severity of acute pancreatitis and the role of ischemic factor in the development of intestinal insufficiency syndrome had been evaluated, and then there was developed a complex treatment of this syndrome. Effectiveness of the treatment regimen has been proved on the basis of the data describing the motor-evacuation, suction and barrier function of the intestine (p < 0,05), as well as indicators of endogenous toxic (p < 0,05), oxidative stress (p < 0,05), nutritional status of the body (p < 0,05).
