Essay

The thesis is aimed at improvement of diagnostic and clinical criteria for selection of patients with a high cardiovascular risk following an acute episode of AHF for predicting adverse hospital and out of hospital period events. In patients with manifest acute heart failure post systolic function and diastolic dysfunction, progression of renal dysfunction exhibit significant effect on subsequent course of the disease in both the inpatient period and in outpatient treatment following an acute exacerbation of heart failure. Early markers associated with possible destabilization of hospital and out of hospital period in patients with coronary heart disease (acute myocardial infarction and DAHF) following an acute episode of AHF are detected.
