Essay

The object of the thesis is metrological provision of measuring when using contact potential differences (CPD) method. The purpose of the thesis is improvement of effectiveness of nondestructive inspection when using CPD method by means of its metrological provision development and improvement of design concept of CPD meters (CPDM). Academic novelty: calculation method of conversion factor of primary measuring transducer has been worked out basing on the obtained mathematical model; first developed method of measuring of output voltage of CPDM primary measuring transducer; classification of spurious products emerging in the CPDM primary measuring transducer has been conducted, their effect on the accuracy of measuring has been outlined; first developed method of surface quality evaluation of electronic equipment basing on measurements of CPD. Practical importance: recommendations for construction of CPDM have been worked out aiming at improvement of accuracy and decrease of labor content of measurements; method of CPD measurements conducting has been worked out, as well as program and methods of CPDM metrological certification, CPDM analysis technique (calibration method); structure of system and recommendations for development of CPD method standards have been put forward. Degree of implementation: the results of the researches have been accepted for implementation in the Institute of solid-state physics, materials science and technologies of the National Science Center "Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology", in the "REC" ltd (Zhitomir), and have also been implemented into the academic activities of Chair of Physics, Theoretical and General Electrical Engineering of Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy.
