Kychyluk Y. Eimeriosis and isosporosis of pigs (spreading, diagnostics, treatment

The thesis presents the results of investigations of the spreading Eimeriosis and Isosporosis of pigs in the northwest of Ukraine. Seasonal and age dynamics of invasion was established. Inspected swine farms are infected by different species of Eimeria in pigs older to 30 days old and by Isospora in 10-to-20-days-old piglets. Assosiation of Eimeria spp. and I. suis were found with nematodes eggs parasites and ciliate in small and large intestine. Species of E. neodebliecki and E. guevarai were discovered in pigs in Ukraine for the first time. A comparative diagnostics of the different methods investigation for eimeriidosis of pigs was analysed. The high diagnostic efficacy of method by A. G. Kotelnikov and M. V. Hrenov is confirmed. The new technique of express diagnostic was suggested for detection eimeriidosis of swine. The advantage of its method have been established over other coproscopy methods. The efficacy of modern Ukrainian and foreign drugs was tested. Comparative analysis of the effectiveness medical substances the solution form (baycox 5 % and solicox) and powder form (brometronid new and brovaseptol oral) for eimeriosis of pigs were carried out. The high therapeutic and economic efficacy of solicox and brovaseptol oral form are proved. The effect of drugs on the morphological and biochemical blood indeces of pigs was studied.
