Petrovska Y. Relationship between Architecture and Art in the Development of Lviv School of Architecture

The object of study is the art education of the Lviv school of architecture. The aim of the study is to report the development of art education in the Lviv school of architecture and definition of fusion of architecture and art in the artistic heritage of its representatives. To implement the tasks used a set of theoretical and empirical research methods. Identified and characterized the main stages of art education in the Lviv school of architecture. The features of the formation directly "Art" as a result of the departments of art direction. Characteristic patterns of teaching arts subjects. Valid recommendations to continue the traditions of art education and the application of synthesis of the arts in the Lviv Polytechnic. The results of scientific research are proposed for implementation in the educational process of higher education in Ukraine architectural and technical, architectural and artistic profile, as well as training courses or individual sections of theoretical courses on the history of architecture and art, design history at Lviv Polytechnic. The results obtained in the thesis theoretical and practical results should be used in further research scholars in the fields of architecture, art and design, as well as history, philosophy, education and others.
