Essay

The object of study is architectural and planning organization of social infrastructure of rural areas. The aim of the research is to develop theoretical basis and methods of architectural and spatial reorganization and development of social infrastructure in rural areas under intensive transformations in Ukraine. There have been suggested the method of studying the correlation between geographically morphological and architecturally functional characteristics of social infrastructure, also quantitative relationship between existing features of socio-economic transformations in agricultural area of the region and quality of social infrastructure in rural areas have been summarized and defined. For the first time there have been made scientific reasoning of the principles of architectural and urban planning, also tools of social infrastructure, reforming its architectural and planning structural elements under transformations in Ukraine; structural model of social infrastructure has been also suggested herewith, and the designer's classification of the factors influencing socio-economic transformation and method for detecting and evaluating their impact on architecture and spatial organization of social infrastructure of rural areas have been developed; the principles and methods for forecasting the development and allocation of service facilities in rural areas have been proposed herewith; the number of expedient facilities, their capacity, type and location have been determined. The results have been introduced to training programs of higher education institutions, executive authorities and local governments. These survey results should be used for making changes to current legislation for urban planning, adjusting current standards for placement and design of social infrastructure of rural areas in new construction projects and renovation of existing social infrastructure of rural areas while drawing documents for urban planning, state and local programs for socio-economic development.
